Dmitriy grew up around painters—his dad (who’s also a lead painter at Paint Portland today) had been perfecting his skills since Dmitriy was just a toddler, and his mom also shared a passion for painting. After getting his start in the painting world right out of high school, Dmitriy learned firsthand the dedication it takes to deliver quality work.

Inspired by his experiences, he founded Paint Portland with a focus on creating a company that helps customers feel like part of the family.
